Day 1 – Travel Day
Travel to Bruges and arrive in time for registration, followed by a safety briefing and introduction to our wonderful guides and support crew! We will allocate you into your initial cycling groups for the ride, but don’t worry, these aren’t fixed!
Day 2 – Bruges To Hook of Holland
The day begins with a hearty breakfast before departing in our guided groups out of the city, passing by the Belfry of Bruges, a medieval bell tower in the market square. The cobbled roads will rattle our bikes and bones as we make our way out of the city – fear not however, as it won’t take long for us to leave these behind and reach the gentle (smooth) rolling roads of the Belgian countryside!
We take the first ferry of the day as we ride into The Netherlands and pass into Middleberg, joining several cycle paths that connect the islands of Zeeland, one of the flattest parts of Holland.
We soon board another ferry to Maassluis, to ride the final few km’s to the Hook of Holland ferry terminal. Our bikes will be loaded onto our support vehicles as we tuck into some snacks before boarding the overnight ferry to England. En-suite cabins and dinner will be provided on the ferry.
Day 3 – Harwich to London
We have breakfast on-board the ferry before we disembark and collect our bikes from the pie support crew. Our final day takes us through quiet Essex villages over undulating terrain. There will be three refreshments throughout the day, and London will soon come into view on the horizon.
Our route into London passes by some world famous sights such as the Olympic Park, Victoria Park and Tower Bridge. We arrive at a finish point of your choosing and celebrate our achievements together. A celebratory meal and overnight accommodation can be provided, before everyone departs home after a cracking few days riding!
