The word “iconic” is often over-used…. but the London to Brighton bike ride really is Britain’s best-known one-day ride! At 110km, this route is perfect for an energetic day’s riding. Finish at one of Britain’s most popular coastal towns, next to the famous Brighton pier!
Pre-ride
You’ll arrive at the start location in time to meet the pie crew. Our guides will be on hand to check your bike and help fix any last minute mechanicals. Light refreshments will be on offer, before the main welcome speech and safety briefing. We’ll then head out onto the road in our guided groups!
The ride
Depending on group size, we are able to offer multiple route options, meaning the ride remains accessible and appropriate for all levels of cyclist.
Our guides will lead the way out of south London, and before long we’ll be in the Surrey countryside, cycling in our groups along quiet country lanes. We leave behind one home county and continue cycling through Sussex as the lure of ice cream and the smell of fish and chips increase!
Our support crew will be on hand to set up welcome refreshment stops during the day, as well as transporting your luggage from start to finish.
We approach Brighton from the north, before finishing at the wonderful seaside town, overlooking Brighton Pier and the stony beach.
There is the option of a coach transfer back to London, or you can simply hop on the train. Our team will drive ahead with your bikes, ready for your onward travel home. Of course, we can arrange for accommodation in Brighton or in London if required.
