This is a fantastic ride for groups of varying cycle abilities, with three route options ranging from 136km to 230km in length and between 1,300 and 2,350m in climbing!
Cyclists will arrive at the start location early in the morning, in time to meet the pie crew. Our bike guides will be on hand to help fix any last minute mechanical issues, and our event manager will run through a safety briefing over snacks and light refreshments – we recommend everybody has a hearty breakfast before travelling to the ride!
It’s then out onto the road in our guided groups. The routes themselves all follow a “base” route, with added loops and extensions for the “tough” and “epic” routes.
A substantial buffet lunch will be provided for all, in addition to morning and afternoon refreshment stops.
All routes will share the same refreshment stop locations, and cyclists will be able to move between groups on the day if they would like a change of pace / change of route.
The routes themselves take the cyclists in an anti-clockwise direction around the stunning countryside surrounding Redditch and Worcester, dipping into the Malvern Hills along the way. They feature everything from beautiful country lanes, steep climbs and flat, straight roads primed for getting the peloton working!
We finish back in the afternoon – conveniently at a village pub – for celebratory drinks and food!
Overnight accommodation can be arranged if required before and after the ride.
