This route offers plenty of flexibility and isn’t limited to the example shown here. In the past, we have done the Kent loop in as little as 50km all the way up to 150km, using multiple different routes. The options are endless, what you’ll find below is simply a typical itinerary.
pie guides will lead groups of 8 – 10 cyclists with different pacing for each group. The ride will be based at the acclaimed Squerryes Estate Winery & Vineyard. It will commence with breakfast and culminate in a well-earned mid-afternoon lunch buffet.
The route heads south from Squerryes onto the quiet Kent country lanes.
You will start with climbing Hosey Hill, then wind your way south and down through the undulating countryside, riding from one quintessential English village to the next, through ancient forests, along meadow lined lanes, eventually arriving at the morning stop at Ashdown Country Club. The route then turns back towards Squerryes. For those who would like an extra challenge, Kidds Hill (aka The Wall) will be on offer. Bear in mind, all of you will be taking on York Hill. Then it’s downhill back to Squerryes where your well earned lunch will be served on the private terrace.
