Pre-event
Cyclists arrive at the pre-event hotel in time to register with the pie crew. If needed, your bikes will be transported up from London ready for your arrival prior to the ride. That night, our event manager will run through the pre-event briefing over dinner.
Day 1 – 170km & 470m elevation
We’ll pair off into our groups, ready for the day ahead. At 170km, this is by far the longest day in the saddle, but the amazing scenery of Yorkshire more than makes up for this, and the miles fly by!
There will be regular refreshment stops along the way, allowing us to refuel and rehydrate. Of course, our guides will look after you every step of the way!
We finish that night in a fabulous hotel, complete with its own pool and spa to wash away the aches and pains!
Day 2 – 130km & 470m elevation
Breakfast is taken at the hotel, before setting off for our second day in the saddle. At 130km, today is much shorter than yesterday, and as we approach Cambridge, it’s also fairly flat!
Again, we will provide regular refreshment stops along the way, and our support crew will be out on the road providing mechanical and medical backup. Overnight hotel accommodation is provided in Cambridge, giving you the chance to explore the famous University city in the evening before dinner.
Day 3 – 125km & 750m elevation
The final day of the ride sees us heading towards the big smoke, picking up sections of the 2014 Tour de France route. That evening, we’ll celebrate with a wonderful meal overlooking the Thames.
