Itinerary (subject to change)

Thursday 8th June – Cardiff to Carmarthen

Cyclists arrive early at the BT Sport Cardiff Arms Park to register with the pie crew. After a welcome speech and briefing, it’s time to hit the road in your guided groups for the 125km ride to Carmarthen. After a hilly day, the hotel will be a welcome sight, along with dinner in the evening!

Friday 9th June – Carmarthen to Killinick

Breakfast will be provided at the hotel, before setting off for the second day in the saddle! Today is a ride of two halves, with 65km to complete in the morning, before boarding the ferry to Ireland in the afternoon. Once in Ireland, it’s just a short 10km ride to the hotel.

Saturday 10th June – Killinick to Abbeyleix

Our third day in the saddle sees us head away from the coast and into the beautiful countryside of Ireland. A gentle ride in the morning gets our legs going before we climb the main hill of the day – Mount Leinster. After a hearty lunch, we continue our journey towards Abbeyleix and the hotel.

Sunday 11th June – Abbeyleix to Dublin

The final day! We head east towards the beautiful Wicklow Mountains National Park, gradually climbing as we get closer. The highlight of the day is an ascent up onto the Moors and over Sally Gap, before the final descent down to Dublin. We may even stop off at the Guinness Storehouse to round off a fantastic trip!

A celebratory meal will be provided at the hotel, before you sample more of the famous Irish hospitality!

Monday 12th June – Travel Home

You are free to explore the sights and sounds of Dublin before returning home. Your bikes will be returned back to Cardiff Arms Park that evening. Please note you will need to arrange your own travel home from Dublin.

Distances and Elevations – subject to our recce!
