Kate Dzimati

Originally from New Zealand and with an immense love of the outdoors, Kate is relatively new to PIE. She spent 20 years in the classroom as a primary school teacher working in New Zealand, Australia and England. Kate has travelled the world extensively with some of her highlights being trekking to Everest Base Camp in the Himalayas, white water rafting down the Zambesi River, visiting the pyramids of Egypt and running down the track at Olympia in Greece. During the pandemic, she discovered a huge passion for cycling and became hooked very quickly. Kate has recently become an accredited British Cycling Breeze Ride Leader and has cycled over 100 miles in one day, participated in many fundraising sportives of 60+ miles and completed stretches of the beautiful Essex and Suffolk coastline. She considers anything in the ‘outdoors’ to be her happy place.
