Ruari Jardine

Ruari is a surgical registrar based in the north of Scotland. He has a specialist interest in colorectal and trauma surgery. He is undertaking a masters in surgery and splits his time between Aberdeen and Inverness.

In his free time he works with BASICS Scotland, and is a medic for offshore oil and gas companies. If he is not working, he can be found on his bike. He is a keen cyclist, undertaking the Tour of the Highlands in 2023, and an ironman athlete. His proudest achievements are completing the Celtman Extreme Triathlon and representing GB at the age group European Triathlon Championships. He is an active member in his local cycling and triathlon clubs.

Ruari is always keen to explore new routes and locations and loves nothing better than cycling with friends and finding new coffee shops!
