London to Cambridge

Our route passes through 3 National Parks and some of the best scenery the UK has to offer. Highlights include sections of the 2014 Tour de France Grand Depart. Numbers are limited to 40 people per event due to restrictions on accommodation.

This route offers plenty of flexibility and isn’t limited to the example shown here. There are many different ways to do this journey, and we can adapt it to your requirements. The options are endless, what you’ll find below is simply a typical itinerary.

London to Cambridge Itinerary

You’ll arrive at the start location in time to meet the pie crew. Our guides will be on hand to check your bike and help to fix any last minute mechanicals. Light refreshments will be on offer, before the main welcome speech and safety briefing. We’ll then head out onto the road in our guided groups!

The Ride

Depending on group size, we are able to offer multiple route options, meaning the ride remains accessible and appropriate for all levels of cyclist.

Our guides will lead the way out of London, and before long we’ll be in the Essex countryside, cycling in our groups along quiet country lanes.

Our support crew will be on hand to set up welcome refreshment stops during the day, as well as transporting your luggage from start to finish.

We approach Cambridge from the southwest, before finishing at a wonderful riverside location, complete with BBQ!

Coaches will transport cyclists back to London, and our team will drive ahead with your bikes, ready for your onward travel home. Of course, we can arrange for accommodation in Cambridge / London if required!

The way the team and guides handled and responded to all the surprises and challenges thrown their way, making everything smooth for us punters was extraordinary. And very much appreciated. They always have things organised and when something isn’t quite right it is fixed quickly and with lots of communication. Paul and the team were brilliant in Slovenia with us all. The 3 person pie team - a trip co-ordinator, ride guide, and on-bike medic - were all top professionals as well as great fun. It was another great trip which the whole team enjoyed. Whether Medical, Portering, Providing Food (paying attention to dietary requirements) and Drink (morning coffee, regular rehydration electrolyte tabs, soft drinks at lunch, alcoholic beverages at the end of the day - if you like that sort of thing), excellent hotels & restaurants, - all needs catered for.

Staff - highly sympathetic & empathetic - who convert a steep hill into a mere undulation. All staff  were immaculately turned out in identical uniforms.

Bike maintenance - Brilliant
Route planning - beautiful lanes, B roads, cycle paths - superb routes.

Overall - excellent management throughout, with high empathy and support for all participants (including a cat!!).
