This route offers plenty of flexibility and isn’t limited to the example shown here. There are many different ways to do this journey, and we can adapt it to your requirements. The options are endless, what you’ll find below is simply a typical itinerary.

Sardinia Coast to Coast Itinerary

Day 1

After your midday arrival into Olbia airport, we will transfer you to the hotel, where you will be met by the rest of the pie crew. Our guides will help you build your bikes before the warm up loop. In the evening there will be a welcome briefing and evening meal.

Various warm up loop distances available depending on flight times.

Day 2 – Agrustos to Oliena

All groups concentrate on the amazing Monte Albo mountain range – an impressive limestone ridge famous for its flowers, bearded vultures, eagles and splendid views. The hotel is part art gallery, part keeper of rich local traditions, part restaurant and part relaxation centre.

Day 3 – Oliena to Bosa

GPM climbs are the order of the day, and 100 miles for those who dare.

Bosa is a tiny old village, so we will be spread out between different accommodations, but we shall all come together to eat in the evening.

Day 4 – Bosa to Alghero

The choice today is along the coast or up some more hills to finish at a hotel in a secluded cove north west of Alghero.

This lovely hotel has a secluded position, private beach, pool and stunning views.

Day 5

Relax in the hotel before the transfer back to Olbia/Alghero airport.

They always have things organised and when something isn’t quite right it is fixed quickly and with lots of communication. Paul and the team were brilliant in Slovenia with us all. The 3 person pie team - a trip co-ordinator, ride guide, and on-bike medic - were all top professionals as well as great fun. It was another great trip which the whole team enjoyed. Whether Medical, Portering, Providing Food (paying attention to dietary requirements) and Drink (morning coffee, regular rehydration electrolyte tabs, soft drinks at lunch, alcoholic beverages at the end of the day - if you like that sort of thing), excellent hotels & restaurants, - all needs catered for.

Staff - highly sympathetic & empathetic - who convert a steep hill into a mere undulation. All staff  were immaculately turned out in identical uniforms.

Bike maintenance - Brilliant
Route planning - beautiful lanes, B roads, cycle paths - superb routes.

Overall - excellent management throughout, with high empathy and support for all participants (including a cat!!).
