This route offers plenty of flexibility and isn’t limited to the example shown here. We can design a route to your specific brief. The options are endless, what you’ll find below is simply a typical itinerary.
Thames Path Challenge Itinerary
Hikers arrive early at the start location in Greenwich to register with the pie crew. Light snacks are provided, but we recommend eating breakfast before you arrive – it’s going to be a long day!
Once registered, you will move through to the briefing zone where our crew will go through some last minute hints and tips for the day, along with guidance on health and safety. Its then out onto the Thames Path as you begin the marathon walk!
You’ll be walking for anything between 8-12 hours – this includes stopping at the regular refreshment areas we will provide during the day. Behind the scenes, our support crew will also be on hand to provide assistance where required, and of course Event Control is just a phone call away!
Finally, the finish line comes into view and it’s soon time to put your feet up and sit down for a well-deserved celebratory drink and BBQ!
Of course, we can provide pre & post-event accommodation, along with a luggage transfer service and travel back to the start if required – it’s your hike – and we deliver to your specifications!
The route continues through Hanover Place, home to the playful Girl with a Pierced Eardrum, before looping back to the city centre. Perfect for art lovers and curious explorers alike, this trail combines a scenic urban stroll with the thrill of a street art treasure hunt. This route invites you to see the city in a new light, tracing the work of an artist whose bold creativity continues to provoke thought, laughter, and conversation.
